Pediatric PACU
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Portland, Oregon
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12s, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
- Variable days Monday–Friday
- Possible weekend and night call
- Must cover 2 of the 3 winter holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care (2 years of experience)
- Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
Unit / Clinical Setting
- Pediatric PACU
- Pre- and postoperative care for pediatric patients from birth to age 18
- Patients ages 18 to 25 may also receive care in the Short Stay Unit and PACU based on diagnosis and agreement with the Anesthesia and Nursing Teams

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.
