Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Steamboat Springs, Colorado
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12s, mostly nights
- First-timers accepted
- Weekend requirement: 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule at a minimum
- On-call not required
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units
- Unit has 10 beds: 5 LD rooms and 5 PP rooms
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Experience circulating for C-sections
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Experience in clinical leadership and a desire to mentor RNs
Preferred
- Rural healthcare experience
