ICU RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Coon Rapids, Minnesota
- 3x12 shifts, day or night
- 36 hours per week
- 16-week contract
Unit Details
- ICU
- 25 rooms/beds
- Average daily census: 22
Schedule
- Day shift start times: 0700 and 1900
- Works every weekend
- May float to other medical floors
- May float between Mercy Coon Rapids and Mercy Unity campuses as needed
- Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on staffing
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with conscious or moderate sedation
- Experience with ICP
- Experience with pulmonary artery (PA) catheters
- Experience with telemetry
- Experience with ventilator management
