Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Location

Durham, North Carolina

Assignment Type

Travel/Contract

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Fridays

Role Details

9 patients per day total
4 echo rooms, including 2 stress echo rooms; rotation required
Average 8 patients per day at an exam an hour
Interviews are via Microsoft Teams or phone call
Targeted start date: 11/30/2026

Required Qualifications

Echo Technologist with 1 year of experience
Echo Technologist experience within the last year
ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS
BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

IV skills preferred; training available if needed

Additional Information

Locals accepted within 75 miles of the facility address
Biweekly orientation schedule
Equipment used includes GE VE95, GE S70, GE case machines, and Intellispace Cardiovascular (ISCV) PACS/reporting

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
