Description

Home Health RN

Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Roseburg, Oregon
13-week contract
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Home health/hospice setting
Territory includes Roseburg and surrounding area
No weekend rotation
Potential for rotating on-call with 4 RNs
No guaranteed hours
Average daily caseload: 5 to 8 patients
Weekly productivity expectation: 30 points
Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic
Locals are accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
One year of home health experience
Home health experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience working with adult patients
BLS issued by American Heart Association, National CPR Foundation, or American Red Cross
Driver's license
Experience with Homecare Homebase
Experience with OASIS

Preferred Qualifications

Prior HCHB experience outside the six-month window may be considered if retraining is completed during compliance

Responsibilities

Provide home visits
Attend periodic office meetings
Case types may include Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up visits, and other adult home health or hospice services

Additional Notes

Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Travel between patient homes is reimbursable
Travel to the first patient and from the last patient is not billable
Dress code: scrubs

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
