Medical Surgical
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Saint Paul, Minnesota
- 13-week assignment
- Acute care teaching hospital
- 37-bed surgical unit with some overflow medicine patients
- Ratios: 4-6 patients per RN
- Shift options: Day (4x12) 7:00-19:30 or Night (4x12) 19:00-7:30
- Hours per week: 48
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Pending license accepted
- First-timers accepted
- Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend
- Will float within scope to meet facility needs
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- Primary source verification of license
- Competency Exam
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Skills Checklist 1
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM
- HHS/OIG
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Tdap
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- RespSafety Clearance

Additional Notes
- Locals not accepted within 100-mile radius
