X-Ray Tech

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Location: Oregon City, Oregon Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Facility Type: Short-term acute care, 109 total staff beds

Schedule and Assignment

Shift: Day, 3 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 to 17:30), Friday through Sunday
Hours: 30 hours per week, 10 hours per day
Weekends: Required (Saturday/Sunday 0700 to 1730)
Block schedule: Required
On-call: Required, 1 to 3 days of call per month
48-hour weeks: Not approved
Float between units: No
Staffing ratio: 1:1

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in Oregon
Radiology Technologist with 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year

Facility-Specific Requirements

Background check: Abuse/neglect search required only for placements at the child care center facility
Badge photo: Passport-style with neutral background, required
Charting system: Epic
Scrub color: Any color for general areas; OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child provide scrubs
Parking: No fee

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
