Schedule

• Shift: Day, 5 x 9-hour shifts (7:00-16:00), variable Monday-Friday
• Hours: 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week
• On-call: Not required
• Weekends: Not required
• Block schedules: Not required
• 48-hour shifts: Not approved

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Oncology experience of at least 1 year, including experience within the last year
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card or ONS/ONCC certification

Required Documents and Health Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID, Social Security card, and E-Verify (as applicable)
• Background check within 90 days of start, covering the past 7 years, updated annually
• Nursing education verification (third-party) and NURSYS verification for all RNs
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by an MD, NP, PA, or DO
• 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant results accepted)
• TB test (IGRA/TSPOT, QuantiFERON, or 2 PPDs) within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination acceptable)
• MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), hepatitis B, and varicella: vaccine records or positive titer, with declination options
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
• Respirator fit test and annual respiratory safety clearance
• Passport-style badge photo with a neutral background (Oregon placements)
• Float policy acknowledgment
• Annual regulatory training modules (about 3.5 hours), assigned through the learning management system

Experience and References

• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years

Float and Other Details

• Travelers may be required to float to other units and facilities in the system to meet staffing needs, and it is common to float based on skill set.
• If floating consecutive shifts, a hotel is offered (at additional cost).
• Scrubs are provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units. Scrub color for other units is any color.
