Location: Greensburg, Pennsylvania

Overview

• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 to 7:30), 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Local candidates: Not accepted ("No locals")
• Facility first-week schedule: The facility will contact the candidate and send the first week's schedule within 48 hours of the start date.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania RN license
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, completed within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association or RQI
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Valid driver's license

Pre-Start Requirements

• Complete prior to start:

  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam (if applicable)
  • Assessment of patient policy, interdisciplinary plans of care, skin integrity training, mobility training, and catheter training. RN/LPN must post proof of completion and pass each quiz with 100%.
  • Net Learning candidate answer sheet and post-test (patient safety section not used)
  • Orientation checklist
  • Code of conduct
  • Confidentiality agreement
  • Pandemic attestation
  • Signed job description
• Review before start: cardiac procedure education binder (required for all RNs and LVN/LPNs on Telemetry units)
• Print and bring to orientation, then submit to the unit leader: competency assessment form (required for all RN and LVN/LPN candidates on Telemetry units)
• Complete and submit for clearance: disclosure statement and exclusion information form
• Upload to the badge system: a passport-style photo in JPEG format, with a solid, non-white background and a clear, unfiltered headshot. Sunglasses and hats are not allowed.
