Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room / OR - Circulate (Days)

Location: Springfield, Vermont Employment Type: Temporary Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 9 hours per day

About the Facility

• 25-bed critical access hospital offering 24-hour emergency care, general surgery, a hospitalist program, and inpatient and outpatient services
• General surgeon is always on call for urgent or emergent surgery, such as appendectomy, bowel obstruction relief, and complex laceration repair
• Commonly performed procedures include colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, open and laparoscopic hernia repairs, soft tissue mass excision, excisional biopsies, hemorrhoid procedures, oncologic surgery for breast or colon cancer, antireflux surgery, and skin grafting

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Vermont (or Compact license), uploaded with profile
• 2+ years of OR Circulate experience in a hospital setting
• OR Circulate experience within the last year
• Strong orthopedics experience
• 3 months or more of total travel experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing

Assignment Logistics

• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Permanent address and all requested time off (RTO) must be included in the profile at upload
• RTO is limited to 5 days maximum; requests made after upload, during interview, or after offer will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of submission
