CRT OR RRT - Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Location: Teaneck, New Jersey Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours (7:00 to 17:30), 40 hours per week Posted Shift Times: Two 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) or two 8-hour shifts (11:15 PM to 7:15 AM)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association (a certificate of completion is accepted as a placeholder until the AHA card is issued)
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Experience in a Critical Care setting

Onboarding Requirements

• Background:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 3 months of start, updated annually, covering all locations lived or worked in the past 7 years
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks, within 3 months of start
  • The facility runs an additional background check
• Health and Immunizations:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • TB: 2 negative PPDs or 1 QuantiFERON/T-SPOT within 1 year of start. If past positive, a negative chest X-ray within 3 months and a facility TB questionnaire are required.
  • Positive titer required for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella (vaccination proof alone is not accepted)
  • Tdap within 10 years of start
  • 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start, including marijuana
  • Flu vaccine or an approved medical or religious exemption during flu season (9/28 to 3/31). Declination is not acceptable.
  • Annual N95 fit testing, completed onsite during orientation
• Documents and Training:

  • Driver's license or state ID copy
  • Proof of annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Joint Commission training
  • Two professional references within 7 years
  • Employment application
  • Work history verification covering at least 1 year before start, with gaps of 30 days or less (required for New Jersey candidates)
  • Signed confidentiality and security agreement, safety brochure review and quiz, dress code and employee handbook review, and license verification release, all before start
