Description

Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: Silverton, Oregon Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Dates: 10/28, 11/11

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hours (7:00 to 17:30)
40 hours per week
On call: one night a week and one weekend every 6 weeks

Requirements

Valid RN license in Oregon
OR - Operating Room experience (1 year)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ability to circulate
Experience with Epic

Float and Cancellation Terms

Expected to float within the site and across the system; refusing to float as requested will result in contract cancellation
Low census cancellation: must cancel at least 1.5 hours before shift start
May be mandatorily cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
