Temp RN OB/GYN (Nights), Mt. Pleasant, MI

Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 12 hours per day
Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Michigan RN license
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
2+ years of OB/GYN experience, with OB/GYN experience within the last year
AWHONN certification, completed within the last two years (documentation required)

Responsibilities

Collaborates with physicians to create a plan of care that returns the patient to optimal health
Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders
Delegates to and oversees Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Associate, OB Care Associate, Surgical Service Assistant, Nursing Clerk, and Psychiatric Tech functions
Evaluates the effectiveness of the care plan

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
