Description

Respiratory Therapist (RRT, Nights)

Location: Mount Clemens, Michigan Employment Type: Temp Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 12 hours per day

Role Overview

Provides respiratory care to patients who require emergency care, intensive care, therapeutic treatment, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, diagnostic testing, and patient education for pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders. Monitors and maintains equipment and participates in quality assurance and improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan
Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
Preferred: Travel experience

Facility Information

288-bed tertiary teaching hospital
Verified Level II Trauma Center
Cardiovascular care, cancer services, orthopedic services, and an elective surgery center
One of the busiest Emergency Centers in the area

Additional Information

Will accept CRTs
Dress code: black scrubs

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
