Shift and Schedule

• Shift options: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 (3x12 D/N), or Nights only if preferred by the manager
• Weekends: Every other weekend

Unit and Facility

• Unit: Post-op Surgical Care Unit, providing post-op care for General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery, GYN (not mom/baby), and Trauma
• Float scope: May float to other similar units as needed, including PCU
• Facility: Acute Care Hospital, Magnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma, 479 staffed beds
• Charting system: Epic
• Parking: North Lot; free in any unrestricted space

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Not Eligible

• Local candidates who live within 25 miles of the facility

Other Notes

• Finalized RTO must be included with submission
• No RTO within the first week of start date
• No more than 10 days of RTO per assignment
• Education modules are completed during orientation, averaging 16 hours
• COVID religious or medical exemption requests require a signed facility form; approvals can take up to 3 weeks
• Confidentiality agreement must be signed before start
