Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Muscatine, Iowa
Employment Type: Temp
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Varied
Orientation Dates: 11/30, 12/14, 12/28
Start Times: Open to 1200, 1100, or 1000 start times
Trauma Levels: Sites range from Level 1 to Level 4 trauma centers. Madison accepts local candidates.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
Emergency Department experience within the last year
TNCC certification
BLS certification issued by the American Red Cross
ACLS certification issued by the American Red Cross
Experience with critical and emergency drips (vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, sedation)
Experience with BiPAP
Experience with ventilator management
Experience with Epic
Valid driver's license

Location Notes

No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility, except at Madison, where local candidates are accepted.

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
