Labor Nurse with PP
Overview
- Specialty: Nursing

- Shift: 12-hour night shift (7p-7a), rotating weekends and holidays
Facility Details
- 25-bed CAH
- Labor and delivery is a Designated Level for Maternal and Neonatal Care (level one designation)
- Department is normally staffed as a 2-person department and averages 15-20 deliveries per month
- Most staff are skilled in all L&D, PP, and nursery roles
- Centrally located, 2-3 hour drive to Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi
- Large transient population due to plant construction in the county
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Labor and Delivery (4 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS
- AWHONN
- C-EFM
- STABLE
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Housing
- Housing can be challenging to find due to construction and tourism in the area. Travelers with RVs reportedly have the best options.
