Description

Cath Lab Tech

Location: Grove City, Ohio Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30, Monday through Friday, 4x10s

Schedule and Call Coverage

Two weekday call shifts (17:30-07:00) and two weekend call shifts (Friday 17:30 through Monday 07:00) per 6-week schedule.
Call coverage for the Christmas and/or New Year weekend is required (Friday 17:30 through Tuesday 07:00).

Float and Staffing

Requires floating to another facility at least 1 day a week. No call at that facility.
Agency staff do not have guaranteed hours and may be down-staffed if the operational need is not present.
Agency staff may be reassigned to an open shift later in the week or floated to another unit or care site within the health system to maintain contracted hours.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio.
Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience.
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association, required for all direct patient care personnel. Submit a scanned copy showing front and back of card, with expiration date.

Optional

Influenza vaccine: proof of vaccine, or declination or exemption on agency letterhead (declination not accepted in California or Illinois).
Tdap: vaccine within the past 10 years. Declinations are accepted where the assignment does not require pediatric interaction, using the agency form.

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
