Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Mooresville, North Carolina Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Targeted Start Dates: 11/30 (soonest) to 12/14 (latest)
Role Overview
- Unit: Labor and Delivery. Level 1 nursery. Patients are typically greater than 35 weeks, with conditions such as pre-eclampsia, GDM, oligohydramnios, and GHTN.
- Floating: May float to Post Partum if needed.
- Orientation: Biweekly
- Scrubs: Provided
- Traveler Requirement: Must pass an EKG/Telemetry exam onsite.
Schedule
- Shifts: Night, 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 to 7:30), 36 hours per week
- Rotation: Weekend and holiday rotation
- On-Call: Required, low census
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina (NC or compact nursing license in hand)
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- AWHONN Intermediate
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (AHA or AAP only; an "Essentials Provider" certification may be accepted case-by-case)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association (AHA only)
