Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Teaneck, New Jersey Contract Length: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel/Contract Unit: Labor and Delivery
Schedule
- Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
- Every other weekend (EOW)
- Occasional on-call if census drops
- Patient ratio of 1:2
Role Details
- Will float to post-partum
- Will need to scrub, circulate, conduct conscious sedation, FHM, and triage
- Scrubs provided
Eligibility
- Does not accept travelers who live permanently in Westchester County, Rockland County, or New York City
- New Jersey travelers accepted
- First-time travelers accepted
- Minimum 3 years of experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey RN license
- Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association (instructor or provider)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Ability to scrub in surgical procedures
- Experience as an OB circulator
- Conscious sedation
