Role Overview

As a school-based Physical Therapist, you'll provide evaluations, consultation, and direct therapy services to students with physical and mobility needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with school teams across several districts while helping students access their educational environment and achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma Physical Therapist license
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to travel between school sites

Job Details

• Location: Northwestern Oklahoma area surrounding Enid
• Start Date: January 2027
• Duration: Through April 2027, with potential for extension
• Schedule: Part-Time
• Days: 3 days per week
• Caseload: Approximately 25-30 students
• Service Area: Up to 10 school district campuses

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and student planning
• Provide consultation regarding mobility, positioning, equipment, and access needs
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation
