Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is based in Loma Linda, California. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, functioning out of a home department, and supporting various patient care departments as needed. The nurse will utilize clinical judgment, assessment, and care planning skills to deliver age-specific and developmentally appropriate care, with a focus on patient wellness, compassionate support, and collaborative teamwork.

Job Details:

• Location: Loma Linda, CA
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in California, 1 year of experience in an ICU setting, current BLS certification, compliance with state licensure requirements, and required clinical competencies
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records and additional certifications in critical care
• Additional Information: May be required to participate in on-call rotation based on department needs. The role involves delegating tasks to unlicensed staff, applying clinical concepts to practice, and contributing to a culturally diverse work environment.
