Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology, Portsmouth, NH. The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse supports procedural care for angiograms, biopsies, neurointerventional procedures, vascular interventions, and other image-guided treatments. The role requires clinical independence, efficient nursing practice, teamwork, moderate sedation expertise, and availability for scheduled call coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; 8-hour shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse license required at submission
  • Experience in procedural departments, critical care, emergency department, or intensive care unit settings
  • Experience with moderate sedation
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interventional Radiology or cardiac catheterization laboratory experience
• Additional Information:
  • Responsibilities may include care for angiograms, cerebral coiling, biopsies, neurointerventional procedures, carotid stenting, embolectomy, thrombectomy, kyphoplasty, epidural steroid injections, joint injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, renal microwave ablations, and other image-guided procedures
  • Weekend coverage may be required based on departmental needs
  • One to two call nights per week may be required
  • Flexibility to accept additional call coverage may be requested for departmental needs
  • The role requires the ability to work independently, efficiently, and collaboratively as part of a team
