Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Technologist position located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves rotating shifts including evenings, with responsibilities centered around complex cardiac procedures, trauma, and advanced cardiac technology. The candidate will be expected to participate in a variety of surgical cases, including heart transplants, LVAD placements, and cardiac robotics, requiring a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 20 years of experience, Level 1 Trauma experience, recent travel experience, no scrub requirement, experience with Cardiac Robotics, LVAD, and Heart Transplant, strong background in General, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, and Trauma units.
• Schedule: 10-hour evening shifts, 40 hours per week, with rotating days, evenings, and nights (all shifts will be rotating), call and weekends required; call response time: 30 minutes.
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications as required for operating room technologists, with a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience and proficiency in specialized cardiac procedures.
• Additional Information: Time off requests must be responded to within 48 hours of an offer; once an offer is accepted, it cannot be altered for time off. Scrubs are navy blue. The role requires compliance with flu and COVID-19 vaccination requirements or valid medical/religious declinations.
