Description
Job Summary:
This is a registered nurse position in a medical-surgical with telemetry unit at a healthcare provider located in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves providing patient care in a busy medical-surgical setting, adhering to hospital protocols and clinical standards, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position requires a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to work efficiently during day shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience, and the ability to work in the United States.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), experience working in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves delivering comprehensive patient care within a medical-surgical with telemetry unit, following facility protocols, and maintaining compliance with all safety and clinical procedures.
