Description

Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position available in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves providing direct clinical care to neonatal patients, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing practices. The NICU RN is responsible for supervising staff, adhering to facility standards, and supporting clinical operations on night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of experience in neonatal intensive care, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and applicable certifications such as BLS and NRP.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric or neonatal ICU certification, experience with electronic fetal heart monitoring, and familiarity with high-acuity neonatal care standards.
  • Additional Information: The NICU RN will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to neonatal patients on a shift basis. The role includes supervision of clinical staff delegated care, supporting the facility chief nursing officer to ensure high standards of care, staff competency, and resource management.
