Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients in a dedicated intensive care environment. The nurse must be adaptable to float to related units, including pediatric and emergency department settings, and handle patient assignments independently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in North Carolina, at least 2 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Units, and proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in pediatric and emergency department units, availability to work weekends, holidays, and be on-call as needed.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Position requires flexibility to float to similar units including the Children's Emergency Department; may cancel up to two shifts within the 13-week contract due to low census.
