Description

Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available for a facility located in the region. This role involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients requiring intensive cardiac and critical care, with rotating day and night shifts according to unit needs. The position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to advanced pediatric patient care.

Job Details

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Will consider Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with 6 years of experience, Colorado RN license or multi-state compact license, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse (PCCRN) certification, VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience, teaching hospital experience.
Travel: Travel requirement is required for this assignment.
Float: Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel within their clinical competence to other practice areas within a thirty-five (35) mile radius of the original facility, as needed.
Additional Information: No approved planned time off within the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted.
