Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Technologist position located in Erie, PA. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a high-acuity cardiac surgery environment. The candidate will assist in surgical procedures, manage sterilization protocols, and ensure patient safety throughout operative events.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week (except during orientation week)
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist or related certification, relevant educational background, located within 50 miles of Erie, PA, with at least 1 year of experience (or more as specified in the job order)
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in open heart or cardiovascular operating rooms, familiarity with sterile surgical techniques and cardiovascular procedures, Certification in advanced perioperative skills is a plus
• Float: Float rotation may be required, as contingent staffers are expected to float to areas of need when needed, including pre-shift or mid-shift; staff may also be downstaffed or flexed in 4-hour increments
• Additional Information: Candidates need to respond to offers with acceptance or decline within 48 hours; time off will not be added or altered once an offer is accepted.
