Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility located in the area. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for critically ill patients within the ICU setting. The nurse will utilize specialized knowledge and skills to provide patient-centered care aligned with professional standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: This position is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services through comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, laboratory data, and diagnostics, as well as formulating and revising care plans based on patient needs. The role also involves documentation, supervision of licensed and non-licensed personnel, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience in an acute care hospital setting. Clinical performance competencies must be maintained annually.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach frequently, along with physical agility to respond quickly to patient needs. Lifting up to 75 pounds may be necessary. Proper body mechanics must be used, and standard precautions observed due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids. Effective communication skills are essential for reading, writing, and speaking in person or via phone.
