Progressive Care Unit Nurse (PCU) Arlington. The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Heart & Vascular Unit for a temporary assignment. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients with cardiac and vascular diseases, including post-catheter management and cardiac monitoring, in a state-of-the-art facility.
Job Details
- Position Description: The registered nurse will be responsible for delivering patient care on a 31-bed Heart & Vascular Unit, supporting patients with cardiac and vascular conditions, and performing assessments every twelve hours and vital signs every four hours.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience, and ability to work night shifts.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The unit has a focus on cardiac and vascular care, utilizing advanced equipment and technology. Nursing staff are supported by extensive resources and recognition for excellence in care delivery.
