Job Details

• Position Description: RN position in a medical-surgical unit at a hospital specializing in trauma and stroke care, with a focus on orthopedic, trauma, and neuro overflow patients.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical specialty, reliable transportation, and proficiency with Meditech documentation system.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Opportunity to work with advanced equipment including traction, fixators, and cooling devices. Responsibilities include bedside shift report, hourly patient rounding, and caring for post-operative knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, trauma, and neuro overflow patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NIH procedures and neuro trauma care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
