Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse Kansas City, MO. This position involves providing specialized patient care for individuals undergoing procedures within the Interventional Radiology suite. The role requires a focus on post-procedural care and patient outcomes, adhering to clinical and operational standards of the healthcare provider.

Job Details

• Location: Kansas City, MO
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; 3 years of experience in IR, PCU/ICU, or cardiac telemetry; experience with post-cardiac procedural care including Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Operative Day 1 Open Heart, and permanent Pacemaker placements; ability to interpret EKGs and telemetry strips; experience with IV medication administration and titration (insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, Amiodarone).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post-cardiac procedural care.
• Responsibilities include IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, Chest Tube maintenance, Temporary Pacemakers, Foley insertions, and patient education.
• Must adhere to unit-specific policies and guidelines, including dress code (Navy Blue scrubs, or black scrub pants with Navy Blue top), and patient experience protocols.
• Floating: Float rotation may be required.
