Description
Job Summary:
Neuro Critical Care RN in an Intensive Care Unit Neurological setting. This position involves providing specialized post-operative neurosurgical care to patients with severe brain injuries, stroke, or brain tumors. The role requires interfacing between neurological and other vital organ systems, supporting complex patient needs in a specialized neuro ICU environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, no guarantee of hours
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- End Date: 12/19/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, EPIC electronic medical records experience; 2 years of Neuro Critical Care experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Critical Care Certification, trauma course.
- Orientation: Occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
- Additional Information: The role may require float to area of like skill set within the ICU or Intermediate Care Unit as needed. Previous employment involving any Johns Hopkins health system facilities must be noted on the coversheet and verified before an offer is extended.
