Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in a regional healthcare facility. This position involves supporting multiple medical-surgical units with specialization in neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, hips and joints, oncology, transplant liver and kidneys, and vascular. The role requires providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment with rotating day and night shifts.
Job Details
- Location: Regional healthcare facility (location not specified)
- Position Description: Support 15 medical-surgical units, specializing in various clinical areas including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, hips and joints, oncology, transplant liver and kidneys, and vascular.
- Certifications, Education, Degrees, Location, and Experience: Licensed Registered Nurse with 3+ years of related work experience. Prior travel experience required. CPR-AHA, ACLS-AHA certifications. Basic familiarity with computers and ability to navigate web-based applications. Epic experience required. Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred.
- Schedule: Rotating D/N shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Orientation occurs weekly every Monday (excluding holidays). RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application. No holiday RTO will be approved. No more than three days off (RTO). No call required. Travel RNs are assigned to a unit for 2-3 weeks with variable notification beforehand.
