Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit Simi Valley. Provides coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and applies critical thinking and independent judgment to promote safe, effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The position requires working one holiday, with approval for one holiday off.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, coordinating interdisciplinary care, providing education to patients and families, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating duties to healthcare team members.
