Description

Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) - Green Bay, WI. This position involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting. The role requires flexibility to work rotating 12-hour shifts during the evening and night hours, with an emphasis on supporting critically ill and premature newborns.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour PM/NOC (evening/night) shifts, variable hours (3 p.m. to 3 a.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Associates or Bachelor Degree, minimum of 2+ years level III NICU experience, at least one completed travel assignment preferred, experience with extremely low birth weight and deliveries, EPIC charting within last 12 months
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for post-partum patients in the NICU, resilient and adaptable candidates capable of managing change, social candidates skilled in team environments
  • Unit Information: 18-bed Level III NICU with private rooms, family integrated model, patient ratios typically range from 1:1 to 3:1, including post-partum care
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be flexible for holiday rotation, may be required to support Peds areas as needed, and may pick up on call shifts if desired. Orientation includes 8 hours unbillable, with medical compliance initiated within 48 hours of acceptance or 24 hours for quick start.
  • Special Notes: Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius of the organization; candidates should be resilient, hardworking, and capable of managing high-stress environments.
