Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Nursing position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing open heart surgeries, in accordance with evidence-based practice, hospital policies, and standards of care. The nurse will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care throughout the surgical process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, three days a week, with every other weekend and holidays required, no float requirement, on-call after 90 days.
• Required Qualifications: BSN, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in a nurse residency program.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Additional Information: The role involves performing patient assessments, disease-specific assessments, clinical documentation, patient education, care coordination, medication administration, electronic point-of-care documentation, evidence-based nursing practices, and multidisciplinary discharge planning. The position is slated to start on 10/05/2026 and concludes on 01/02/2027, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and no required minimum experience beyond initial qualification.
