Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Long-Term Care. The role provides care to patients in a long-term acute care and telemetry setting by applying the nursing process, demonstrating critical thinking, and coordinating safe patient care. The Registered Nurse maintains clinical competencies, delegates care appropriately, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications through the American Heart Association; vent and tracheostomy experience; central line knowledge; Colorado or multistate compact registered nurse license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Wound care experience.
- Additional Information:
- Patient ratio is 1:6.
- Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies and procedures.
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for clinical judgment, care planning, delegation, leadership, and supervision of assigned personnel.
- Three positions are available.
