Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor in an acute care setting located in Illinois. The position involves working 12-hour day shifts, with assignments beginning on 09/28/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027. This role requires providing patient care within a dynamic inpatient environment, adhering to established clinical standards and protocols, and utilizing the Epic electronic medical record system.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Licensed registered nurse with active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated; minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on medical-surgical floors.
• Additional Information: Local rate applicable to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles; OSF call off policy includes a duty of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty; orientation hours of 12 hours are guaranteed; charting will be conducted in the Epic electronic medical record system; clinicians should be prepared to produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
