Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Telemetry, Simi Valley, California. Delivers coordinated nursing care to patients according to established standards and the nursing process. The role includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating interdisciplinary care, supervising assigned nursing staff, and promoting safe, effective patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Acute care facility experience.
- Additional Information:
- Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnoses and care needs.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate safe, compassionate care.
- Provides health education to patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
- Delegates appropriately and coordinates the duties of healthcare team members.
- Required vaccinations must be received as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply.
- Willingness to work one designated holiday is required when taking another holiday off.
