Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry, Winchester, VA. The registered nurse will provide care in a float pool role supporting cardiac, medical-surgical, and telemetry units. The position requires the ability to float between units, cardiac experience, previous travel experience, and a minimum of two years of telemetry medical-surgical experience.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) only; NIH certification; Virginia state license or compact license; minimum of two years of telemetry medical-surgical experience; cardiac experience; previous travel experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week, 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holiday required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role supports acute-care units and requires flexibility to float to other units. Block scheduling is not available. Navy blue scrubs are required, with attire subject to applicable dress-code policies.
