Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Telemetry. This night-shift position supports a 24-bed medical cardiology unit and requires strong cardiac care expertise, including telemetry interpretation and management of cardiac drips. The role includes caring for patients following cardiac procedures and working every other weekend.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 2 years of experience with a strong cardiac background; at least 2 years of travel nursing experience; proficiency interpreting telemetry strips and performing cardiac drips.
Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
Additional Information: Clinical responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, cardiology care, post-cardiac catheterization care, and care following percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placement, permanent pacemaker (PPM) placement, and ablation procedures. Experience with TR Band management and femoral approaches is required. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 on nights.
