Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery. The role provides care for patients across antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, triage, and scheduled procedures. Responsibilities include supporting admissions, discharges, transfers, preoperative preparation, and vaginal and cesarean deliveries in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., 12 hours per shift, three days per week, totaling 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state or district.
  • At least 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information:
  • Patient population includes females of childbearing age, patients at 17 weeks gestation or later, laboring patients, and patients undergoing scheduled procedures.
  • Clinical activities include admissions, discharges, transfers, preoperative preparation, triage, and deliveries.
  • Care includes vaginal and cesarean deliveries, external cephalic versions, and cerclage procedures as applicable.
  • Common equipment includes fetal monitors and electronic documentation systems.
  • Assignment dates are scheduled from 11/23/2026 through 02/20/2027.
