Description

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department. The position provides comprehensive obstetrical care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases. The registered nurse applies clinical judgment, leadership, delegation, and supervision skills to support safe patient care and delivery outcomes.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: At least two years of nursing experience and prior travel experience.
Additional Information: Provides care to Labor and Delivery patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, demonstrating critical thinking and scientific judgment, maintaining clinical competency through continuing education, delegating care according to staff education and experience, and providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
