Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) travel registered surgical technologist (CST) opportunity available in a healthcare facility. The position involves supporting open heart surgical procedures within the operating room setting. This role provides valuable experience in cardiac surgery cases, working in a fast-paced environment dedicated to patient care and safety.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a certified surgical technologist (CST), complete educational background in surgical technology, current state licensure or registration, and at least 1 year of experience in operating room settings, particularly with open heart procedures
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiovascular surgical procedures and familiarity with sterile techniques in high-acuity environments
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The position requires supporting the surgical team during open heart procedures, maintaining sterile fields, preparing surgical instruments, and adhering to operative protocols. Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. The assignment is set to begin on 10/19/2026 and conclude on 01/18/2027.
