Job Summary

Operating Room Open Heart position supporting routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures in a high-volume surgical environment. The role requires an experienced CVOR CST capable of functioning independently across a broad range of procedures in a fast-paced setting. Weekend coverage is scheduled for Saturday through Monday.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR CST in a high-volume hospital setting; demonstrated proficiency in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures; ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment; verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed; license or certificate verification required.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week; scheduled 6:45 AM7:15 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Call participation is not required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include supporting coronary artery bypass, valve repair and replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, ventricular assist device placement, Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump placement, adult extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, laparoscopic, robotic-assisted and open thoracic procedures, and vascular procedures involving end-stage renal disease grafts and fistulas. The service line includes multiple operating rooms and an endovascular suite, with capacity for concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass.
