Job Summary

Registered Nurse Medical Surgical Floor. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care through comprehensive assessment, evidence-based interventions, medication administration, treatment, education, and evaluation of patient responses. The role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, delegates and oversees support staff, and contributes to individualized patient goals and outcomes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience; pediatric experience; active Michigan nursing license; active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Provides skilled nursing services, administers medications and treatments, assists with patient transfers, responds to alarms and call lights, evaluates treatment effectiveness, updates care plans in collaboration with the care team, and follows applicable regulations, guidelines, and organizational policies. No on-call requirement; weekend coverage is scheduled every other weekend.
