Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Float Position, Denton, Texas. This travel nursing role supports acute-care medical-surgical services, including care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. The position requires a collaborative team member who is willing to ask questions when clarification is needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Assignment Dates: 11/23/2026 through 02/22/2027.
- Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute-care setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Medical information technology system experience.
- Additional Information: The role supports medical-surgical patient care and may provide medical-surgical hold nurse coverage in the emergency department. Surgical cases may include procedures other than cardiac and open neurological surgery. Self-scheduling is permitted within reasonable schedule-balancing guidelines. Royal blue scrubs are required.
