Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Delano, California. Provides coordinated nursing care for patients throughout labor and delivery while applying the nursing process, critical thinking, and independent judgment. Supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and promotes safe, effective outcomes for patients and families.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) certification
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Acute care facility experience
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing health education, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating duties to healthcare team members. Required vaccinations may be a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions applicable where permitted.
